It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, sister, auntie and friend who fought a courageous battle with various health issues.
She was predeceased by her parents, Einar and Gyda Brygman, husband Bob Jones, sisters, Myrna Siba, Evelyn Strachan, Jeanette Brygman, and brother-in-law Frank Siba.
Shirley leaves to mourn, brother-in-law Gil, her nephews, Paul, David and Corey; Randy and Ryan and nieces, Jenny, Tracy and Liisa, as well as many great-nieces and nephews who loved her deeply.
Shirley was a loving, caring and beautiful soul. She was a dedicated and valued employee of Great-West Life for many years, having started in June of 1968. After retirement, Shirley enjoyed her time with family and close friends, taking many trips to Mahnomen, MN to gamble with her partners in crime Bob, Keith and Yvonne. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to thank all the medical professionals in Gimli Hospital, Selkirk Betel, Misericordia Hospital, and all that were involved in her care during her illnesses.

I am saddened by Shirley being gone so quickly. I reported to Shirley at GWL in the Claims area. She was a beautiful soul and I loved laughing with her. It was such a pleasure to work with a beautiful individual like her. Shirley was a beautiful person inside and out. She had an infectious laugh along with great management skills. Our years together managing the Claims area of GWL were the best of times.
