Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Brenda I’m so sorry to hear of Dennis’s passing. I have such good memories of curling with Dennis and our Grey Cup trips together!! - Posted by: Gordon McNeill (Co worker at CNR) on: Jan 28, 2025

  • Brenda, Wally and I are so sorry to hear of Denis’s passing. He was a fountain of information about Albert Beach and had the best memory of people places and things. I always thought he should write a book about the history of Albert Beach. He was always asking about our girls and what they were up to. He will be missed. Take care of yourself and your beautiful grandchildren. I will never walk by your cottage without thinking of him. - Posted by: Glenda Rieu (Friend) on: Dec 09, 2024

  • Dear Brenda - We are so sorry to hear about Denis’s death. The ritual May opening of the cottage will not be the same. He was always friendly and inquired about our kids and granddaughters. Having been a long time cottager he had a vast knowledge of the history of Albert Beach and always seemed to know the news and happenings at the beach. His booming voice and hearty laugh will be missed. Our deepest condolences to you and your family. - Posted by: Gisèle Champagne & Jean-Pierre Brunet & family (neighbours at Albert Beach) on: Nov 24, 2024

  • Brenda, it’s been many years since we worked together but I think of you often & the fun we had. My heart is breaking for you. I know what you are going through, as I lost my husband 2 years ago. Sending my heartfelt condolences. - Posted by: Christine Ward (Co-worker at VIA Rail) on: Nov 17, 2024

  • As a younger cousin of Brenda’s, I didn’t really know Brenda or Denis that well, but always liked them when we met. That last time we met, maybe 7-8 years ago, Denis and I had a very nice conversation. The feeling was like we were two old friends. I will always remember this. My heartfelt condolences to all.
