David Allan Watson passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Dinsdale Personal Care Home at the age of 80.
He is predeceased by his parents, Harold and Winnifred Watson and sisters, Eldine Kirkland and Marjorie Watson.
David will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Mildred (Len) Wenger; brothers, Dale Watson (Lorraine Nogue), and Ralph Watson; as well as brother-in-law, Gerry Kirkland and many nieces and nephews.
Following high school, David was hired as an insurance adjuster, where he dedicated his career. Throughout his life, he made each of the Western provinces home, from Ontario to British Columbia, before finally settling in Terrace, BC. While living in Terrace, he found his passion for photography. His photographs have won competitions, have been published in magazines, and are displayed in Terrace, Abbotsford, Prince Rupert, Kitimat and Brandon. His hope was that his photographs inspired the viewer to “get out and explore nature.” Following a long tenure in Terrace, David returned to his hometown of Brandon to live out his final chapter.
In keeping with David’s wishes, cremation has taken place. He will be laid to rest with his siblings at the Brandon Cemetery.
