After a lengthy illness Sandra peacefully passed away.
Predeceased by her loving parents, Gwendolyn and Charles Smith, beloved son George, grandson Kyle and great-granddaughter Emma.
She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her children, Corrine (Reg), Bruce (Cathy), Jacquie (Evan) and Dawn Carriere; grandchildren, Colette, Danielle, Amanda, Rachelle’, Delaine and Makayla: and her 15 great-grandchildren.
While our hearts mourn the loss we will take comfort in knowing she can breath freely now and we will forever hold onto our wonderful memories of our times together (which were many) especially Thursday nights - they will never be the same but we will carry on.
We would like to thank the amazing staff at Riverview Health Centre for their great care and compassion for our mother. She loved it there - her words.
Cremation has taken place. A private gathering will be planned for the spring.
