Blair, his sister, Beverley, and younger brother, Earle were the siblings that I never had. Our mothers were sisters. Earle and I were closest in age but I still maintained a close relationship with Blair and Beverley. As I came home to Wpg for a visit, we always had several times of getting together. One year we camped together in MN, survived a terrible storm but then went on to Minneapolis touring the wall of America together. We also visited him and 1st wife, Anne, when Blair was working as a manager for Manitoba Telephone in Thompson, We had our son, Sean with us that time. He made great pals of Blair's boys, Bruce and Stephen. Blair took my then husband, Ross up in the helicopter to Churchill. I had talked to Blair just recently and ever so sad that he's left us. Blair, and my husband, Ray shared a long Masonic tradition and we alll three shared a connection with the navy. So we wish you Fair Winds and Following Seas!
