Chuong Ting, of Markham, Ontario, peacefully passed away on November 25, 2024, at the age of 83.
Chuong was born on June 23, 1941, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia where he met his wife Heng Ying. His life was deeply shaped by the Cambodian genocide, where he lost numerous family members and friends. Chuong immigrated to Winnipeg with his family in 1981 where he subsequently worked in the furniture industry for 25 years. Following retirement, he relocated to Markham, Ontario to be closer to family.
Chuong was predeceased by his wife and was a widower for 27 years. He is survived by their three children, Milien (Kevin), Milan (Alvin) and Tommy (Seakie) and two brothers. He will be deeply grieved by his seven grandchildren, Westley, Blythe, AJ, Emilia, Laura, Ethan and Nathan.

Funeral visitation will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St, West Saint Paul on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
