It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacqueline d’Auteuil (née Dufault) on December 2, 2024, at the age of 98.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Claudette (Lucien Guenette, deceased) and Lucille; daughters-in-law Hélène (Gilbert, deceased) and Maria (Georges-Édouard, deceased); her grandchildren Ivan, Nicole, Martin, Samuel (Angela) and Michel (Amy); her great-grandchildren Damien, Justin, Josée, Mireille and Emmanuel; as well as her brother Gérald (Marge); and her sister Gisèle Vinci (Frank).
She was predeceased by her husband Athanase; sons Gilbert and Georges-Édouard; her parents Israel and Gracia (Beauchemin); and her brothers and sisters Léo, Yvette (Trumbla), Éveline (Chabot), Rudy, Raymonde (Girard) and Rita (Lacombe).
You will always be lovingly remembered. You are now with God and resting in his care.
The family would like to thank the staff at Villa Youville for the wonderful care Jacqueline received during her stay there. Their dedication and compassion are very much appreciated.
Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Église Notre-Dame-de-la- Miséricorde Church in Ile-des-Chênes, Manitoba, Father Gregory Kossi Djiba presiding. Private Interment will take place at a later date in the Ile-des-Chenes cemetery.
