I was saddened to hear of Oriole’s death. May her gentle soul Rest In Peace. My deepest sympathy to all Oriole’s family at this sad time. I worked with Oriole at Manitoba Hydro on Taylor Avenue. She was a very independent lady and oh! so funny, gentle, kind, witty, and helpful in every way to everyone. I enjoyed wonderful visits with Oriole and Dwayne at their home. I’m sure she is now enjoying being with the love of her life, Dwayne and their well loved puppies. Will miss you Oriole but will always treasure the memories. “To live in Hearts we Leave Behind, Is not to Die.” - Thomas Campbell - Posted by: Jacinta Carey (Work colleague) on: Jan 07, 2025

Oriole was very kind to the animals at the Winnipeg Humane Society for several years. We are so thankful to her for the MANY second chances she gave to our animals. Sending strength to all the family and friends. - Posted by: Sharon Rubel (aquaintance) on: Dec 12, 2024

Dear Oriole, I have known you since 1974 when we worked in data entry. You were scary!! Always seemed so nasty. As I got to know you better, it was just your work demeanor and certainly not your true character. You have always had a great sense of humor and a kind and generous heart. I regret missing the last lunch date with you. You were expected to be around much longer. I know you are now grateful for your peace. No more pain. We had many laughs in your TV room. I hope you and Dwayne are walking your dogs. I am sorry for not being with you today at your tribute. I love you and I miss you. - Posted by: Anita Brackston (Friend) on: Dec 09, 2024

Oriole was the love of our cousin Dwayne who predeceased her several years ago. We live in northern B.C. so we didn’t get to know her very well but we heard what a kind, caring person she was. She endured MS for as long as we knew her, living on her own with the help of friends, never complaining. We were saddened to hear of her passing. Rest in peace, dear cousin. We shall miss you. - Posted by: Dan & Sharon Bell (Cousin) on: Dec 07, 2024
