With great sadness, the family announces the passing of Dorothy (née Unrau), on December 5, 2024, at the age of 87.
She is survived by her children, Lyle (Marilyn), Dale (Cindy), Jim (Tracy), Sheldon (Marge), Coralei (Darrell); her grandchildren, Brian, Evan, Kayla, Charles, Meghan (Logan), Trevor, Alison, Tyson, Jeniffer, Steven, Chelsea, Candace (Jayson) and lan; her sister Almeda (John), brother Claude, sisters-in-law, Helen, Elsie (Johnny), and Erica as well as her great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and friends.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and all the wonderful staff at Oakview Extendicare, who took amazing care of her for the past five years.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or Parkinson Canada.
