MARY KLASSEN
Mary Klassen, age 88 years of Winnipeg, MB passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Charleswood Care Centre.
She was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1986.
Mary was born on April 10, 1936, to John and Susan Kehler in Winkler, MB.
She is survived by her three children, Brenda (George) Fehr, Jeffrey Klassen and Shannon Roberts and her grandchildren Lora and Ian Roberts.
A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a memorial service on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Both will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
A private family burial will take place.

To Mary’s family, I’m so sorry for your loss. I have memories of Mary and auntie Verna playing bingo, having visits at aunties house having coffee. To her son Jeff she appreciated everything you have done for her, including going out to eat at Thunderbird restaurant. I am so sorry for your family's loss. I remember taking care of Mary while I was doing homecare. she was an amazing person. She would always talk about her kids and grandkids and how proud of them she was. We would always watch general hospital at lunch. I missed her when I had to change my job. Sending my Condolences to Mary's family. I met Mary at The Day Program on Elgin Avenue. Was cancelled because of COVID. She was such a sweet lady, we always sat together, when we had lunch or doing our exercises or just having coffee and we became friends. Mary always talked so much about her son Jeffrey.
