DORETHA (DEE) BRUNEAU
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Doretha "Dee" Bruneau, who left us on December 15, 2024, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Dee’s warmth, kindness, and spirit will be deeply missed by her stepson, Jayson; her brothers-in-law, Joseph and Elvis (Anna); her sister-in-law, Louise (Bill); as well as her many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In accordance with Dee’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held in the new year for family and friends to gather and honor her memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations to CancerCare Manitoba in Dee’s memory would be gratefully appreciated.

Dee was my student for a very short time just prior to her passing. She was a delight to speak with! I found her humour and turn of phrase very uplifting. I will miss trading cat stories with her. I suspect there is one heck of a party at the Rainbow Bridge as her fur kids ready to welcome her Home. Fly On Dee! ❤️ - Posted by: Linda Guest (Teacher) on: Jan 27, 2025

I’m so sorry to hear about Dee’s passing. She was a wonderful woman and a great hairstylist. I always enjoyed our chats while she was cutting my hair. My heart goes out to her family and friends. - Posted by: Hiroshi Koshiyama (Former customer) on: Dec 30, 2024
