TINA CHEN
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend on December 20, 2024.
Tina was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Paul and William. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her surviving spouse, Robert; children, Chris and Joanna (Gregg); grandchildren, Robert and Dylan; siblings Pearl (Arthur) and Anthony; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tina was loved by many. She was a caregiver by profession. “Giver” in the word “caregiver” perfectly described who Tina was. She was generous to a fault, and helpful to so many. She loved to play Mahjong, and she loved to sing. Cooking was her passion, and she certainly excelled at that.
A funeral will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Thomson “In The Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Paying of respects will begin at 10:00am. The family will say a few words, with the reception to follow.
Special thanks to the Winnipeg Paramedic and Ambulance Services, and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba in Tina Chen’s memory.
