Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES MURRAY BRIDGEFORD
I loved being your wife of 60 years, Jim. I already miss your attentiveness and zest for life. You were always ready to go on another of our adventures either to a distant place or across the city.
Your work life began as an apprentice electrician for Cummin Shipman and G.B. Electric. As a journeyman for CPR, construction work in Alberta; then back home to the CNR where you spent almost 34 years.
Your boys and l were your world. With soccer, baseball, hockey, etc. it was amazing you managed to fit in a little golf, slow pitch and curling for yourself. Your grandchildren were enjoyed every chance you had to attend their activities, etc.
You were predeceased by your mom and dad, Jessie (nee Smith) and Jim Bridgeford; your mom and dad-in-law, Eunice (nee Machan) and George McArthur. Left to mourn is your wife Lynn; your boys, Glen (Colette) and Todd; your grandchildren, Dylan, Daniel (Sylvie), Shannon (Eric); as well as brothers-in-law, Earl (Sandra) McArthur, Colin (Dragica) McArthur; sister-in-law Nancy (Paul) Collette; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Many thanks to the wonderful staff of Concordia Hospital and the excellent care given by St. Boniface Palliative Care. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice.
Join us for Jim's Celebration of Life at CanadInns, 826 Regent Avenue West in Ambassador Room C on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
