RONALD SEADON
Ronald Allan Seadon, 70, passed away suddenly early Sunday morning, December 22, 2024. Ron was a great husband, father, grandpa, uncle and brother and everyone's best friend.
He was predeceased by his older brother Paul Seadon and his best bud and brother-in-law Mel Brisebois. He leaves behind, beloved wife Lise (Dupas) of 50 years; son Alan and Michelle (Caruso); daughter Rachele Lockhart; grandchildren, Samantha, Daniel and Jayme (Dyck) Seadon, Piper, Hunter and Preston Lockhart; his younger brother John David and his wife Kathy (Cheys); and many extended family members and friends.
Ron worked at CP Rail for 35 years where he was well liked and respected by all. After retiring he started, Yes Dear Handyman Services where he helped a lot of people, many of which became great friends. He was always there when you needed a hand or a joke.
He was a big family man spending as much time as possible with family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He spent hours playing and teaching them a variety of skills. If you came to grandpa’s, aprons went on and you were baking! Visiting his many friends and neighbours made him happy. Going to his friends, Arnold and Lucy Sedo for coffee several times a week was also very dear to him. They made themselves beer, worked on tractors or just talked for hours on the porch.
He was well known in his community and he believed if you help others they will help you when you need them. He cleared driveways, assisting with the Springfield Country Fair and always helped neighbours when he was needed.
Ron left a lasting impression and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 31, 2025 at the Dugald Community Club, 544 Holland Street, Dugald between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
