ADALGISA (GISA) MAGDA CIANFLONE

January 15, 1933 - December 30, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Adalgisa (Gisa) Magda Cianflone (nee Gigliotti), on December 30, 2024. Gisa was 91 years old at time of passing.

Gisa was born in San Mango d’Aquino, Italy. She came to Canada in 1956 and married Dad (Joe).

Mom enjoyed family life, going to the cottage, gardening, and all the family gatherings on the holidays.

Gisa was predeceased by her husband Joe, son John, mother Elena Gigliotti (Sacco), father Rosario Gigliotti, sisters, Olga Costanzo (Vincenzo), Ivonne Cicco (Gesualdo), brothers, Giovani (Angelina), Vincenzeno (Iolanda), Mario (Franca).

She is survived by her son Don, grandchildren, Giuseppe (Ali), Mallori, Elizabeth, Riviera, Pepe, and Gianni, and daughter-in-law Nevada, and great-grandchildren, Scarlet, Donato, and Breanna, along with many nephews and nieces.

Special thank you to pallbearers, Rosario and Johnny Gigliotti, Tony and Vince Cicco, Mario Cianflone and Giuseppe Cianflone.

Also a special thank you to all the staff at West Park Manor for all the care they gave to Mom.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave., Winnipeg, MB.

Viewing and condolences will commence at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Mass at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Father Sam Argenziano presiding.

Entombment will take place at Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley St.
