It is with deep sadness that the family of Josephine (Josie) Dennis announces her passing on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at the Middlechurch Home at the age of 89.
Josie is survived by her husband Allan, son Wayne (Susan), sisters, Margaret Sesak and Anita Greenaway. She was predeceased by son Norman, her parents, Ann and George East, and brother Charles East.
Thank you to the nurses and staff on N2 for the wonderful care and support.
A private service will take place in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Josie was a dear friend to Etta and me. Josie could always be counted on to offer advice, a consoling hug, a good joke and almond cookies & meatballs at Christmas! Josie was always there when you needed her and we will truly miss her. Josie's specialty was making perogies and she spent her life trying to discovered the perfect recipe. She always wanted to venture out of her comfort zone when it came to dining out. But at the end of the day she would always order chicken fingers and fries!! lol!
