It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and Nani (grandmother) at the blessed age of 88. Iris peacefully walked into the arms of eternity on January 6, 2025, at home, surrounded by family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Isaac Najamuddin; her children, Ivy Bhatti, Ileen Ajmal (Fakhar), and Ivan Najamuddin; and her cherished grandchildren, Naomi Ratte, Nicholas Ratte, Farah Ajmal (Asfand Wahid), Maria Ajmal (Brody Wainwright), and Noah Bhatti. She also leaves behind her loving sister, Edvina Massey, along with a large extended family, including beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends who were like family.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Bethel Community Church, 430 Lakewood Blvd., Winnipeg, MB with viewing starting at 10:00 a.m.
