On Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the Gimli Community Health Centre, Petra Samec, aged 75 years, passed away.
In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a late date.

So sorry to discover that Petra has been gone since December. My condolences to Aleks, Kalle and Annette and their families and to Glenn. Petra and I shared many times together over the years, from when we were single, to when our kids were small, to when they had grown up. She was a good friend to me.
