LEANNE WAYTIUK
Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved wife to Kevin; mother to Austin (Elise), Logan and Lexi. Daughter to Eileen and daughter-in-law to Ken and Donna Waytiuk, she will be missed greatly by her brothers, Greg (Nicole), Grant (Kelly) and Mark (Beverly), stepson Branson (Christine and grandson Weston), brothers-in-law, Dale (Lisa) and Darren. She will also be missed by her fur babies, Stanley and Leroy. She was predeceased by her father Gordon.
After graduation she went on to hair dressing college. Leanne loved the hair industry and was involved with it until her passing where she opened up Boyz II Men Barbershop in Selkirk with her son Austin and nephew Eric in 2020. Running her own barbershop was her true passion and she enjoyed meeting new clients on a daily basis.
Leanne always enjoyed her country and rock concerts. Once she met Kevin they would take on all concerts together and truly enjoy all their beautiful trips away together to Mexico where they were married in 2013. They spent the last few summers at their trailer in Beausejour where Leanne made even more new friends and spent as much time there as she could.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the exceptional care Leanne received in the Winnipeg and Selkirk hospitals.
Cremation has taken place and in keeping with her wishes, a Celebration of Life will take place with family at a later date.
Donations in Leanne's honour may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
