I knew Elaine’s brother Glen Suppes through another social group back in the 1990’s- 2004. He was a super nice person and fun knowing him. Then while many years going to meetup groups I attended a new group called Gals pals and met Elaine for the first time. I enquired about her last name and yes she was sister of Glen. She was very friendly and I immensely liked her and her warm smile. I saw her a few other times but didn’t get to talk. I had hoped that her foot issue would heal and she would be back to walking again. I was shocked recently to hear she had passed away!!! My condolences and deepest sympathy to Glen and family! Elaine is and was a treasured friend and amazing lady. We are blessed to have known her and have her bless our lives! There was not one person who would ever say a bad word about her. Her love of family, friends and living life exuded from her. Her pride and joy when it came to family. Her kindness, sharing of stories and ability to enjoy everyone's company in every situation. Elaine was a determined and strong person too and came through life's challenges in a way that was a positive example to many. We are grateful to know her and lucky to call her a close friend. We will all miss her dearly xoxo - Posted by: Cynthia and Jim (Close friends) on: Jan 20, 2025

I met Elaine through our meetup groups and we attended many social events together. She was always cheerful and ready with a story to share about her family. I will always remember her chuckle. On one occasion when we both attended a movie event, as we left I noticed Elaine and I were wearing the same zippered hoodie. It was not your average style. The pattern was leopard, red and grey on a beige background. I caught up behind her and said in a loud voice, "Hey, love your jacket!". She quickly turned around and let out a happy cry that we were matching. Great taste! Elaine was such a trooper never letting being in a wheelchair hold her back from our social evenings out and was a regular. Free from pain and worries of this earth, I will miss you dear lady. - Posted by: JODI PENNER (Friend) on: Jan 20, 2025

We got to know Elaine as part of a group of friends that got together once a month for meals, and outings. The last year or so was difficult for her as she was not well and had a lot of trouble with her foot. I'm glad to have taken the time to visit her while she was in the hospital and that I was able to see her at the Christmas dinner our group had in early December. We will all miss her very much!! - Posted by: Cam and Loretta (Friends) on: Jan 18, 2025
