It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Laura Meilleur (nee Morissette) on January 19, 2025. Laura passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
She will be greatly missed by the love of her life, husband Aime, of 68 years, children, Suzanne Sheedy (David), Anita Lentowich (Michael), Denise Berard and Claude Meilleur, son-in-law Kevin Horn, 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Laura was predeceased by her daughter Paulette Horn and son-in-law Georges Berard.
Her love of family was profound and shown in so many ways. We will hold dear to our hearts the memory scrapbooks she lovingly created for us all. We will be forever grateful for her unconditional love, warmth and thoughtful nature. Laura had a full and beautiful life and we are all fortunate to have been a part of it.
In keeping with Laura’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family Celebration of Life will be held.
The family would like to thank the staff of Action Margeurite for their compassionate care.
