It is with deep sadness and enormous gratitude that we announce the passing of John (Ian) Beattie Sutherland on the morning of January 21, 2025. After a brief illness, he passed peacefully with family by his side. His last Advent season was precious. He greatly enjoyed Christmastime with family and friends and food.
We extend our thanks to the Grace Hospital Emergency room staff who made his last hours comfortable.
Funeral arrangements will be determined and announced in a subsequent obituary. We anticipate a funeral service with a virtual option and a Spring interment to follow.
