Betty Doreen Anderson, beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, teacher, adventurer, gardener, animal-lover, and friend, found peace on January 13, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
This strong, brave, and fiercely loving woman will be deeply missed by her daughters, Sigrid and Sara; her sister Linda and nephew Greg; her grandchildren, Maisie and Charlie; and other loving friends and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband Dal Warkentin; her parents, Edna and Harry; and her brother Grant.
A memorial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on February 4, 2025, at 603 Wellington Crescent (Unitarian Church).
