Sincere condolences to Violet and family, sorry for your loss. We have known Wally & Vi for many, many years, through out our move to Toronto and back etc. Walter and Donald Whittal went to Teachers College together many moons ago, but went their separate ways after graduation, lost contact for a while and then found each other again after many years. Many of our lives changed, some not great, others for the better. Rest in Peace Wally, I’m sure you will find each other again! Take Care Vi! - Posted by: May Reznik (Friends) on: Feb 15, 2025

I knew Walter Huska as a member of St. Josaphat Parish, a pillar of the parish, a pillar of gold. He loved the parish and all its members. And when we interacted with him we were always uplifted and made better. He was proud of being a member of the Knights of Columbus. He would love to tell about his work in that society. Now and then he would hint at his life’s work: clearly it was a rich and fruitful life. I thank the Lord for having known him and for all the graces received through Walter. God grant that we may meet again in God’s eternal kingdom. My sincerest condolences to his wonder wife Vi and his family. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Walter. Although he had a short stay at Riverview, I got to know him and his family. I called them my long lost cousins because our families knew one another from back home. I did but some cheese for the family but it was too late. My condolences go out to Walter's family and friends. Keep your memories close to your heart. - Posted by: Maureen (Caregiver ( HCA at RHC )) on: Jan 25, 2025
