Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Dr. K, was my dentist from 1984 till his retirement. He always had an interesting topic to discuss on my visits, and I enjoyed his stories of growing up in old Windsor Park before the mass developments. I too grew up there. I believe he was loosely related to author Jack Kerouac, of 'On the Road' fame. So sad he didn't have many more years of retirement. - Posted by: Kevin Ferris (Patient) on: Mar 06, 2025

  • Rob and I got acquainted in the U of M gym in 1986. Rob took me in as a dental client and conducted all my dental needs until he retired about early 2010. He was always compassionate and sympathetic to my sad dental needs. For that I have to be grateful. We had a foursome golfing partnership for about 10 years that included Al, Dave Oye (late), me and Rob. He was a very knowledgeable Investor on the markets and helped me in that area tremendously. Rob was also an excellent builder, very talented; remodeling and redesigning his Office on St Mary's Road and his personal home. He was a great friend. He was good at jokes, making things lighter. - Posted by: phillip charles (Long time dental client and close friend.) on: Jan 26, 2025

  • I always loved and respected him. I knew him in his Windsor Park days when his passion was body building. We car pooled to the U of M. Myself, my brother Sandy, Gordie Ross, Wayne Fingus, Wayne Myshkowsky and Robert. We had so many laughs. The first question of the morning was how many raw eggs did he have that day? 6, 8, 10, 12 more? If we could all return to those innocent, fun times. I offer sincerest condolences to his family and his brothers and sisters….collectively a fabulous group. May you rest in peace With love and fond memories Ian maciver - Posted by: Ian (Friend) on: Jan 25, 2025
