JEAN ADDY
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Addy at the age of 87 years. She died peacefully at Rosewood Care Home in Stonewall on January 27, 2025.
Jean was predeceased by her husband Bill and son George. She leaves behind a family she loved, son Bill; daughter-in-law Susan, daughter-in-law Annette; grandchildren, Bill, (Lindsay), Stephanie (Kevan), Jordon (Jen), and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Jack, Leo, Callen and Arlo.
Jean was born in Estevan in 1937. She moved to Anola with her husband and children in 1964. She loved the farm work, her yard, singing, and most important her reading her Bible every day. She loved her family and was always ready to put the coffee on.
She will be dearly missed by all of us. There will be no service as per her wishes.
The family would like to thank the staff at Rosewood Care Home for their excellent care.

Jean was so amazing while I played with little Georgie and Billy over 60 years ago. Georgie and I both attended the one room Oak Crossing School, about a mile from the corner, by their house off Hwy 12. I still remember Jean’s laughter, her laundry hanging on the clothes line, and how she was so motherly when I accompanied then into the city.
