LOUISE PETIT
Peacefully on January 29, 2025, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Louise Petit passed away at the age of 89 years.
She leaves in her memory her children: Marc (Nicole), Gerald, Lynne (Terry), Lise (Alec); her grandchildren: Mark, Cody, Christopher, Ben, Brendan, Eric, Camryn; her brother Roger and sisters: Thérèse, Jeannine and Lucy. She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
Louise was predeceased by her brothers: Jacques, Pierre, Paul, George, John and sisters: Marie, Agnes.
She was born and raised on the family farm in Grande-Clairière, MB and was one of 12 children born to Clement and Cecile Bodin. She attended school in Grande-Clairière in her younger years. In grade ten she attended St. Joseph’s Academy in St. Boniface. After school she was employed at La Banque Canadienne Nationale when she met her husband Edouard Petit and started their family. They later moved to Lorette, MB where they raised their family.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
