Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERYL FALLIS
Peacefully on January 27, 2025, snuggled in her bed, our mom, grandma and great-grandma passed away.
Left to miss her are her children, Garth (Janie), David (Debbie), Karen, Lynn (Jim), her loved ten grandchildren, and her adored eight great-grandchildren.
Beryl was born on the family farm near Foxwarren, Manitoba on August 30, 1927, where she was surrounded by a large extended family. When she was 18, she moved to “The Big City” Winnipeg where she lived with her sister Lois and met her husband Ken Fallis, whom she married on November 7, 1953. After starting a family of her own, Beryl began her career as a stay at home mom, at which she excelled.
Beryl was also very passionate about the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Curling. She was a Bomber season ticket holder for over 40 years and curled until she was 80 years old. She was also active in the Manitoba Ladies Curling Association executive and president in 1991 – 1992 as well as volunteering at the Manitoba Curling Museum. Beryl was so proud of the accomplishments of her talented curling offspring whom she supported at Provincial, Canadian, and World Championships.
Beryl spent the past four years living at the Simkin Centre, under the watchful eye of the thoughtful and loving care staff. We thank them so much.
A celebration of Beryl will be a family gathering to share stories and remember all the great years we were blessed with and as she would often say, "LIVE IT UP”

My mom grew up with Beryl. They shared a special bond. Always had a kind word. Beautifully dressed. I loved our chats. I loved her stories. Grateful for the opportunity to get to know her as a teenager. A wonderful woman - Posted by: Brenda Smith (Brown) (Church acquaintance) on: Feb 01, 2025

I have good memories of Beryl as an active member of Westworth United Church. She was a dedicated volunteer in many areas of life and the mother of four remarkable children. I am sorry to hear there will not be a funeral service celebrating her life. - Posted by: Colin Peterson (Family Friend) on: Feb 01, 2025
