Condolences & Memories (10 entries)

  • I did not know Lilliane well, but I could certainly see her love for family as she would come out to watch (really) early hockey games that her grandchildren were playing! She was always a picture of joy and I’m sure her presence will be missed by anyone that knew her. May she Rest in Peace. - Posted by: Sylvia & David Hood (Friends of family) on: Feb 12, 2025

  • I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of Aunty Lilliane. She was a remarkable and beautiful person. She always managed to gather under her wings, nieces and nephews alongside her children to days at the cottage with her homeade pizza, family gatherings and road trips. I have so many fond memories of being included in their summer vacations and she always made me feel welcome…..I remember her journey from Elizabeth road apartment to the house on Monica bay than the move to Lorette where she remained with the family until her passing. She has left me with fond memories and her beautiful smile and that is how I’ll always remember her. Aunty I’ll miss you….love always Lilliane (Tootsie) - Posted by: Lilliane Dubois (Niece) on: Feb 11, 2025

  • I have many fond memories of my beautiful Aunty. Among the earliest were sleepovers at her apartment in Windsor Park. She would play music on her record player and give me a beauty makeover. She would curl my hair and create hairstyles popular in the 60s, apply make-up and let me wear her jewelry. I felt as glamorous as Diana Ross….The 70s were tumultuous years for me, but Auntie Lilliane’s unwavering love and nonjudgmental attitude provided a safe place to go, a kind ear to listen, and hope that life would be better. I’m sure throughout her life she helped many young people find their way…..She and Uncle Marcel hosted many Christmas parties inviting the extended family, filling their home with love, laughter and great food and happy memories throughout the years. I am so impressed with the lovely family she and Uncle raised, truly a fine family. With love, your niece Nicole. - Posted by: Nicole Dubois (Niece) on: Feb 11, 2025

  • Lilliane was a very caring and kind person. I often was a recipient of her delicious desserts. They were always prepared with love for her friends in the condo. My late husband witnessed the same kindness when she worked at the school where he taught. Merci Lilliane pour ton amitié et ta gentillesse! Repose en paix! - Posted by: Patricia Danylchuk (Friend) on: Feb 10, 2025
