EMILY FRIESEN
With very heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Emily Friesen on January 28, 2025.
Emily will be dearly missed by her husband of 69 years, Peter Friesen, four daughters, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB.

I remember Emily very well. She was a great lady to converse with. She was very kind and an extremely hard worker. We had many laughs with Susan, Annie, Meryle, Shirley, Nell Dodds, Anna Wasiluk, Muriel Hawk. Worked with her for 18 years and enjoyed hearing all about the loves of her life. She was so very proud of her husband Peter and her children’s accomplishments. When the doors closed to Cortelco in 1993 it was one of the saddest days for all of us. It was our home away from home. So to her loving family please know she is now an angel in Heaven watching over all of you. She truly is now a jewel in Gods crown.
