Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I had known Jean since 1988. She coached both my boys in the YBC program at Roxy lanes. She got me into coaching and coached beside her for 25 years until I gave it up. Myself Troy and Tyler want to give our condolences to Richard Michelle and family. She will be missed - Posted by: Darcy Robert (Friend) on: Feb 11, 2025

  • Deepest Sympathy to Rick, Michelle and Robert. John and I bowled with you all at Mosienko Bowling Lanes. Jean was a very nice person and easy to talk to. I remember having a bad game and asking Jean 'WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?" Jean gave me a few suggestions and even today when I bowl she comes to my mind, WHAT WOULD JEAN TELL ME! Take Care and hold on to those great memories. REST IN PEACE JEAN! John and Judy Smitiuch - Posted by: Judy Smitiuch (friend) on: Feb 08, 2025

  • First and foremost, I send my deepest condolences to all her family, friends and all that knew and loved her. My mom and I met and knew Jean, Richard and Michelle (as I would address her as Mrs. Shady) in the late 70’s and into the 80’s. We were one big baton family/community as Michelle and I twirled out of the Northwood Community Centre. Jean was one of my favourite baton mothers. Jean was always so sweet, kind and nice to us. Jean would always be so helpful as she would be the first to offer help or find a solution. She was not only Michelle’s biggest cheerleader but she supported as all with her positivity and encouragement. We have such warm memories of her. May God be with you all during this difficult time Sending warm healing thoughts, prayers, hugs and love. - Posted by: Kerry Hill (Baton) on: Feb 08, 2025
