I first met Marg in 1964 when we were new and nearly new nurses working with the Victorian Order of Nurses. She was a wonderful help and fine example of a nurse all those years ago and remained that for decades more throughout our years in our profession. When it came time to write a book of VON memoirs in 2013 Marg was invaluable as a resource and a contributor. Thank you Marg for all your years of being a mentor to so many and a dedicated VON nurse and innovative leader working in the areas of Home and Palliative Care. ere. - Posted by: JOanne Scarth (colleague and friend) on: Feb 15, 2025

Marg was our friend and long standing mentor from VON days always there to support VON initiatives and part of our fellowship over the years. She was our voice of wisdom in creating “ The Hands and Hearts of the VON” published in 2013. Marg was our role model we loved and respected. She will live on in all of us. Bless her family. - Posted by: Sonja Lundstrom (Colleague) on: Feb 15, 2025
