DIANNE RUSAK

1946 - 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dianne Lynne Rusak, on February 14, 2025, at Grace Hospice, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Dianne was predeceased by her parents, Eunice and Finny Ingimundson, brother David, and sister-in-law Arlene (Honey). Remaining to forever cherish her memory are her devoted husband Adam (Junior) Rusak, her sons, Chris (Dorota) and Rob (Sara), her grandchildren, Kaiden, Tiana, Lillian, and Brody, her beloved sister Janice Ingimundson, and many extended family members and dear friends.

Dianne was born on March 9, 1946, in Selkirk, and raised in Winnipeg. She married the love of her life, Junior, on December 6, 1969, and together they built a beautiful family and shared countless memories.

Dianne was deeply involved in her community, dedicating her time and talents to her church, CWL, leisure club, and fundraising. Entertaining family and friends was a source of great joy for her, as was spending time at the family cottage, attending the "Pops", taking care of her garden, and travelling.

Dianne’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and strength. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate her extraordinary life and the countless ways she made the world a better place.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Burrin Ave. A celebration of Dianne's life will follow with lunch, where friends and family are invited to share their memories and pay their respects. Private interment will take place at a later date.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the doctors and staff at Women’s Hospital and Grace Hospice for their exceptional care and dedication.

A limb has fallen from the family tree,

That says grieve not for me,

Remember the best times,

The laughter, the song,

The good life I lived while

I was strong.
