The family of Mavis Robinson sadly announce her passing on February 12, 2025, at Lion’s Manor, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Mavis was born Mavis Maitland Wiliams in Saskatoon, SK and remained there until she met and married Robert (Bob) Robinson. The couple moved to Provost, AB to start their new life. During the next decades the couple and their family would move to Brandon, MB and Dauphin, MB, finally settling in Winnipeg, MB.
Mavis was predeceased by her sister Irene Caron; her parents, Cy and Hazel Williams; her daughter-in-law Mary-Anne Robinson and her infant granddaughter Alexandra Robinson.
Mavis is survived by her husband of 70 years, Bob and their three sons, Don, Jim (Arlene) and Les (Shalene). She is also survived by her four grandchildren, ZhiAnne, Charles, Daniel (Krystal) and Matthew (Diedra) Robinson and six great-grandchildren, Aurelia, Signy, Fionn, Elliot and Andrew Robinson and Sullivan Bayne-Simes. Also leaving to mourn her passing, Mavis’ sister Joyce Dawson, beloved nieces and nephews, and Katie Robinson (Chris).
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for the loving care, Mavis received during her years living at Lion’s Manor.
A memorial service and celebration of Mavis’ life will take place Saturday, March 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Thinking of Mr Robinson, Jim and Don during this difficult time. May you rest knowing Mavis’s struggles are now at peace. No one promises a life of rose gardens.. but a family witnessing daily struggles of a loved one no one can prepare for.
