It is with immense heartache that we announce the unexpected passing of our 18 year old son, Haakon Edward Povey, on January 30, 2025.
A Celebration of Life honouring Haakon will be at 2:00 p.m., March 8, 2025, at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., Winnipeg, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support mental health and addictions services through AFM.

We are so sorry to hear of your dear Haakon’s sudden passing. We met him at a Family “get together” at Kelly & Rick’s. We were so impressed at how kind and thoughtful such a young guy was when he greeted us - relatives he didn’t know. He readily offered his help when we locked our keys in the car shortly after we arrived. Haakon will be remembered by us. Our thoughts & prayers are with you & all the family. Sincere condolences.
