NICOLE RUTH RECKSIEDLER
It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our dear Nicole on Friday, February 21, 2025, at the age of 49 years.
Nicole was predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Debbie Wirth in 2020. She will be forever loved and sadly missed by her husband Kelly, brother Shawn, close friends Laura and Kevin Cayer and their daughters, Katrina (Sylvain) and Jorja, Jaime and Tyler Arnold, Kim and Shane Mullally, Natalie West, Wendy and Darcy Schultz, many other friends and large extended family.
Nicole was born in Winnipeg on June 29, 1975, daughter of Clifford and Debra Wirth. She grew up in Transcona, graduating from Murdoch MacKay Collegiate in 1993. Nicole joined New Flyer Industries in 2001, making many dear friends over her time there. In 2010, she married Kelly Recksiedler, living in Morris, Manitoba until they returned to Winnipeg in 2020.
She was a tireless and generous supporter of her family and friends and causes dear to her heart. She continued to support CancerCare Manitoba and Challenge for Life, and other charities with her scrapbooking and crocheting skills, through her cancer diagnosis in 2017 until today. Losing Nicole will truly leave a hole in all our lives.
A Celebration of Life for Nicole will be held on June 29, 2025. Details to be provided as plans are finalized.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking that a donation be made to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
