It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and sister on February 24, 2025, at the young age of 81.

Dianne was my Sister-in-law for 49 years. She was truly the best sister I could ask for. She loved her family so very much and the grandkids and great-grandkids meant the world to her. She was a brave, funny, strong, determined woman. She lost her first husband Pete, at a very young age, leaving Dianne to raise their young children, Lisa & Lyle on her own. Dianne worked hard to fend for her family. Later she met Peter. They were together for about 40 years and enjoyed travelling all over the world. They had a place in Yuma and would go there every year to get out of the cold winters. Dianne was a quilting enthusiast and made quilts for all of the family. She belonged to two quilting groups and like most quilters, she had an amazing "stash". Even when Dianne's health began to fail, she was determined to carry on. We are so happy that she came to Calgary last spring. We had a great visit.
