I am so very sorry that Russell was taken too soon. I remember the fun we had as kids/teenagers, and yes the trouble we caused. I pray one day cancer will no longer take any lives. Take care! - Posted by: Kyle Snihur (Childhood friend) on: Apr 05, 2025

Had the great privilege of not only working alongside with Russ but also became friends with him. His sense of humor and lust for life made him an absolute pleasure to be around. Our combined love of craft beer and our on going exchange of pics of our "Friday night beer choices" will be greatly missed. But most of all, how proud he was of his family and all their accomplishment will be something I will always remember. He spoke so fondly of them both. Miss you friend, the world is not the same without you. - Posted by: Robert Shuvera (Friend/co-worker) on: Mar 19, 2025

Dear family, so very sorry for your loss. No words can express how sad I am for all of you. I'll always remember how Russell and his friend would come to our house when they were little boys and have treats. With Love, Frances and all my family - Posted by: Frances H Honke (Friend) on: Mar 16, 2025

Taken too soon…you were greatly loved and will be very missed. Many great memories of baseball, camping, poker nights and socials. It was always fun to try and get you to smile when you were trying to be ornery. Love you, Russ. - Posted by: Amanda Smeets (Friend) on: Mar 15, 2025
