Ronald F Doerr was born on March 21, 1935, in East St. Paul, MB and passed away peacefully at age 89 on March 4, 2025, at Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg.
Integrity and exemplary customer service were values that guided Ron’s career in construction supplies. He began working with Winnipeg Supply where he met Marianne Krueger whom he married in 1977. In 1973 he was invited to be a partner in G D Johnson Ltd and was able to retire at age 55. Ron then joined Marianne in her volunteering ministry. Together they encouraged and cared for many people in practical ways.
Ron was known as a generous and caring person. It was his decision to become a follower of Jesus that gave him the hope and assurance that he will spend eternity in Heaven.
Ron was predeceased by his wife Marianne Doerr (Krueger), his mother Elsie Lanham (Doerr) and his stepbrothers David Lanham and Richard Lanham.
