SHIRLEY ENNS
Shirley Enns - Mom, “Momma”, “Grams”, and friend whose warmth and quiet strength touched all who knew her.
Shirley was born on May 11, 1944, in Kamloops, British Columbia. After raising her three children with love and devotion, she spent over two decades working at Sears Polo Park in the cosmetics department. She had a gift for making people feel beautiful, both inside and out and built lasting friendships along the way.
Shirley was a woman of quiet resilience. Despite the heartbreak of losing her beloved husband Issac and her son Christopher, she carried on with grace, kindness, and an open heart. Her greatest joy was her family. She was a loving mother to Nicole Todd (Tony Todd) and Kelly Enns, and a proud grandmother to Kaelum Todd and Braxton Enns. Shirley is also survived by her son-in-law Fred Enns (Bev) and Heather White, who held special places in her life.
Shirley cherished her countless trips out west to British Columbia, where she spent time catching up with her longtime friends Bonnie and Jim. Those visits brought her joy, laughter, and connection, and she always spoke fondly of the memories made there.
On behalf of the family, we’d like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Oakview Place for their compassionate care during Shirley’s time there. Knowing she was cared for with dignity and respect brings the family peace.
Shirley’s kindness, grace, and gentle strength will be deeply missed. But we carry her memory in our hearts and honour her legacy in the love we share with one another.

Mom was an amazing woman. She was talented in such a variety of ways. She was always up-beat. She introduced me to real teriyaki. She was my confident, my friend and I was hers. We spent a lot of time discussing things over coffee. Being the recipient of her love is a blessing that I am forever thankful for. Mom, I love you so much. Thank you for everything. We will meet again and I’ll tell you stories. - Posted by: Heather (Daughter-out-law) on: Mar 25, 2025
