Edgar Emil Lach was called home to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the age of 88 years.
Left to mourn his passing are his devoted wife of 64 years Christa (Schwandt) Lach, three children Mark (Cindy), Paul (Shelley) and Timothy (Lori-Ann) and five grandchildren Stephanie, Jason, Colin, Sarah and Grace Lach.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 59 Academy Rd., Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, please direct donations to Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots (L.A.M.P.), Lutheran Hour Ministries (Canada), or a charity of one's choice.

My deepest sympathy to Christa, Mark, Paul, Tim, Alice, Ruby, all of your families, and all others affected by this sad time and loss. In life you are sometimes blessed to meet an exceptional person. A person who shows kindness, caring, compassion, unselfishness…the list could go on and on. Edgar was all of that and much more. I spoke with Edgar quite often in recent years and I will remember and cherish those times forever. People talk about the dash in someone’s life. Edgar lived an amazing dash. One that everyone should be proud of and happy to be a part of. I’m sure that he blessed the lives of many. Rest in peace my good friend.
