George Penner, 94, of Winnipeg, formerly of Grunthal, passed away on March 12, 2025, at Donwood Manor.
He is survived by his children, Cheryl Penner, Gwen (Leonard) Wiebe, Theo (Bev) Penner, Theresa Penner, and Vince (Brenda LaFrance) Penner, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Susan, his parents, George and Nettie Penner, his sister Rosie, brother Hank, one sister-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and one nephew.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg.
If friends and family wish, donations may be made to MCC.
