I met Beverley Joy Moon at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. She was nicknamed "Mooner" by her UND roomies in Davis Hall - I lived in the same dorm but wasn't one of her roomies. Beverley was a soulful woman - she was always present for her family, but friends too. She took after her mother that way! I only visited with Bev half a dozen times after graduation - a couple of times at her home in Manitoba and a few times here on Vancouver Island after her "bestie" Judy McDiarmid Bethel moved here eight or nine years ago. From the beginning of our covid isolation, Bev, Judy, and I met monthly on a zoom chat - up until two weeks before Bev passed ... I learned much from both of them about what really matters in life - their belief in The Four Agreements guided them through some challenging times and they convinced me by the way they lived their lives. I feel very fortunate to have shared time with Beverley over more than sixty years! I send love to Gil and all of the family. Our sincere condolences to Gil and family. Bev was a generous person. Attending her yoga classes was a great opportunity. - Posted by: Bert and Linda Berard (Friend) on: Apr 15, 2025

I met Bev many years ago at a mutual friend’s home. My first impression I had of Bev was of being an old soul, with vivid beautiful blue eyes. We continued to bump into one another throughout the years as if it was meant to be. The last time at Local Colours Art Group where she displayed and sold many of her paintings at art shows. I’ll always remember Bev as being a kind person, as well as a straight shooter. I respected that quality in her. She will be missed. - Posted by: Chris (Friend) on: Mar 22, 2025
