It is with sadness and sweet sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Gordon Harding on March 9, 2025 at the age of 91.
Gordon was born and grew up in Winnipeg. He made both Winnipeg and Winnipeg Beach his homes. He had a long career with Headingley Correctional Centre. He was known as the "Bull moose". Everyone knew Gordon was hardworking and loved to be busy building, doing renos, or making things. Gordon was injured in 1999 which changed navigating life, but he did it on his terms with purpose and never gave up.
Gordon was father to John, Sheila, Gordon, and Arlene, and husband to Ruth (nee Inkster), his partner of 55 years, who predeceased him in 2023. His family is large with in-laws, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews in MB, SK, and BC.

In accordance with Gordon’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no formal service will be held. Gordon’s ashes will be placed with Ruth’s. They will forever be together in perpetuity.

I have great memories with my uncle! He was always there for my mom! When my Dad passed away!! He became A father figure! To us! Memories of The lake!! And he also gave a toast to me at My wedding!
