It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Jennie Campbell on March 19, 2025.
Born in Winnipeg on October 6, 1931, to John and Mary Stay, Jennie lived a life filled with love, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family. She faced a brief, courageous, and uncomplaining battle with cancer, demonstrating grace and strength until the very end.
Jennie is survived by Ken, her loving husband of nearly 73 years; daughters Laureen (Yves) and Kathryn (Marc); son Bruce (Barbara); and five cherished grandchildren, Michael (April), Erin, Jenna, Allison (Cain) and Ainslie (Adam). She also leaves behind her newly arrived great-granddaughter, Esme, whom she adored from the first moment they met.
Jennie’s kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family and friends left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, and her memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have had her in their lives.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date to honour and celebrate Jennie’s life.
