Marilyn passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the age of 85 years.
A service will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marilyn’s honour to The Dream Factory.

I met Marilyn at Simkin Centre where I support another resident as a companion. I have fond memories of Marilyn, laughing, singing, talking and chasing her down the hallway to get her to use her walker. She was just so sweet. Once she began to decline I helped feed her, spent time with her and helped her in any way I could. It was my pleasure and she appreciated it. You will be dearly missed Marilyn. I am so sorry to about my sister-law Marilyn’s passing. I would like to express the condolences of myself, my husband Peter, and my daughters Heather and Catherine to Greg and Dana. I would try to see Marilyn whenever I visited Winnipeg. Our last get together was in September 2021 when I visited Winnipeg with Heather and Catherine. Marilyn was her usual lovely and well groomed self. I know Greg and Dana will miss their mother. Again my sincere sympathy to all Marilyn’s family.
