On March 30, 2025, Elisabeth Klassen, age 93, peacefully passed away at Bethania Personal Care Home with her family by her side.
She is survived by her sons, Viktor (Caroline), Willy (Nicole); daughters, Maria (Dieter), Elsie (Chris); grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her sisters, Maria Schroeder and Helen (Henry) Olfert and her sister-in-law Maria Neufeld. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Jakob Klassen, and brothers, Hans and Peter Neufeld.
We would like to thank the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for the wonderful care and compassion that they showed our mother.
A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday April 4, 2025, at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg, with viewing to start at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bethania Personal Care Home.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
