TERRY KEITH MCCULLOUGH

August 3, 1953 - March 26, 2025

Terry McCullough passed away suddenly and peacefully on March 26, 2025, at the age of 71.

He was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Mary and is survived by his wife Kirby, his siblings Ron, Karen, Tracey, and their families, his sons Jesse (Sarah) and Chad, his grandson Jake, and many nieces and nephews.

Terry was born and raised in Morse Place and graduated from Miles MacDonell Collegiate and the University of Manitoba. He came to own a small cabin in Grand Marais in his 20s where he met Kirby during one of his infamous parties. They spent many weekends there as a family while his boys were growing up.

Later in life and into retirement, Terry enjoyed staying active, keeping up with his growing grandson, reading, and travelling (either to hot spots in the winter or road-tripping to anywhere he could explore).

He loved his Jets, his Bombers, his garden, and most of all his family.

As per Terry’s wishes, there will be no formal service, with a small gathering of family to take place at a later time.

  • I have many fond memories of going to school and playing hockey with Terry in Morse Place. He was a tough competitor and a very good student. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace Terry, and thanks for the memories. - Posted by: GREG SAWATZKY (Friend) on: Apr 08, 2025

  • I used to live right across the street from Terry. He was 7 years older than me. So I really did not know him that well . When I was about 7 years old all the older boys were playing touch football on the front street. So I went outside and asked them if I could play football with them. Terry said yes, but the other boys were not as willing to let me play, because of my age. Terry said you can be on my team. I don't know if you remember a Winnipeg television show called Archie Wood, but there was a puppet on the show called MARVIN MOUSE. That day I was wearing my MARVIN MOUSE t-shirt. Terry kept on calling me MARVIN MOUSE during the game. I am not sure if he knew my name was also Terry. Oh yeah, and by the way, I caught 3 touchdown passes from Terry, and we won the game. Not bad for a 7 year old. I thank Terry for letting me play that day with all the older boys. My deepest sympathy and sorrow for your loss. - Posted by: terry daniel klimchuk (neighbour) on: Apr 07, 2025
