Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD (TED) GREENHALGH
Suddenly, on March 31, 2025, Ted Greenhalgh passed away at St Boniface Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Jackie, sister Marj of Neepawa, and brother and sister-in-law Don and Liz of Winnipeg. He had the honour to be the stepfather to Heather (Vince) and Carolyn (Jay), and proud grandpa to Claire and Robert. He also leaves his nephew Scott (Rebecca), niece Katie (Evan) as well as nieces, Michele and Barbara, and nephew Glen.
Ted's childhood was spent in Neepawa before he moved to Winnipeg and graduated as a mechanical engineer. He specialized in helicopter engines first at Standard Aero then branched into self employment in the same field.
Ted married Joann in 1967 and after her passing, married Jackie in 1999. They had many happy years together travelling and singing at seniors residences and hospitals.
Music was a big part of Ted's life. He sang with the Bison Men Chorus and the Winnipeg Golden Chordsmen Barbershop chorus. Recently he was an enthusiastic participant in the Spirits Call choir.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the first responders as well as the cardiac and resuscitation team members at the hospital for their care and compassion.
The family will have a private internment and a celebration of a life well lived at a later date.

Ted was a kind and wonderful person. Both Jackie and Ted were wonderful neighbours. We will miss him dearly standing at the edge of the driveway with a smile and a wave. - Posted by: Mel Batrasany (Neighbour) on: Apr 05, 2025
