Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRITA NORA LENNSTROM
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that Rita’s family announce her passing in the early hours of March 22, 2025.
Rita will forever be lovingly missed and always in the hearts of Gus, her husband of 73 years; her children, Debbie and Dain (Debbie); her grandchildren, Jay (Chris), Kyla, Kayla (Joe), Jaren (Jordan); her great-grandchildren, Tristin, Ainsley, Easton, Remy, Mac, and Drey; and many other cherished family members and friends with whom she loved spending time.
Rita leaves behind a legacy of love - family was the center of everything and nothing made her happier than when the family was all together celebrating something or just each other! Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were “what keeps me going”!
The world feels a much emptier place without Rita/Mom/Nanny/Nan.
As per Rita’s wishes there will be a private graveside service at a later date.
If so desired, a donation in Rita’s memory, can be made to Abundant Life Lutheran Church, 3486 Raleigh St., Winnipeg, MB R2E 1B9.

Uncle Gus, Debbie, Dain and families, I am truly saddened to learn of the passing of Auntie Rita. I have many fond memories of our two families socializing in my youth. My Mom and Dad valued the friendship they shared immensely. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Allan Smakula - Posted by: Allan Smakula (Longtime family friend) on: Apr 05, 2025
